Our Story
Born and raised in a small town in South Dakota, I began working as a laborer at 12. I quickly became intrigued by homes and the world of construction. I discovered the value of hard work and integrity. In a small town, it is common to be neighbors with those you work for and work with—integrity and accountability matter. I still carry that same Midwest mindset.
Over the years, I traveled throughout the Midwest, working on large-scale commercial properties. I developed a diverse skill set, including expertise in masonry, framing, concrete and foundations, cabinetry, job site management, and architectural plan reading.
My passion for custom homes began with Habitat for Humanity, where I assisted in building a custom home for an incredible person who was paraplegic. Through that experience, I discovered how important clients’ needs were and how crucial detailed and custom work is. I was forever inspired and impacted by that project and have since gone on to develop myself by diving into complex projects and studying Architectural Design. My intrigue for custom homes continues to grow which is how I found myself in Los Angeles, working on high-end luxury homes, hotels, restaurants, bars, and other various properties.
I’ve managed projects of significant scale, overseeing the coordination and management of over 25 subcontractor teams, totaling more than 200 individuals, engaged in multimillion-dollar endeavors. Embracing the intricacies of project management, from meticulous organization to crafting master schedules, I thrive in high-pressure environments, driven by my pursuit of excellence. I’ve participated in and closed $300 million in projects in Los Angeles. I have an unwavering dedication to craftsmanship, integrity, and accountability. This commitment ensures that the team and I deliver projects punctually, within budget, and of the highest quality.

Our Team
Our team comprises both project management professionals and construction experts. Frequently, job sites suffer from an imbalance: either excessive project management lacking expertise, or abundant expertise without formal project management experience. We bridge this gap by offering a blend of both, coupled with our dedication to delivering an exceptional experience for every client.

Subcontractors
You won’t encounter subpar subcontractors, unlicensed contractors, or disgruntled subs at any of Breeding Contracting’s job sites. We’ve witnessed numerous contractors compromise the quality of their work by underbidding projects, setting unrealistic expectations, and then imposing terms and pricing on subcontractors that are unfeasible. This often leads to incessant schedule changes, hidden expenses, an abundance of change orders, costly errors, and prolonged timelines.
We believe in and take sole accountability for all subcontractors on our projects. We choose only the best subs and consider them as part of our team.
